• Commands are sent to the BoatNanny via SMS text message from a cell phone or web sites that allow text messages to be sent (www.cingular.com for example).

•Motion Sensor will activate 60 seconds after the unit is switched on

•A daily status message is sent at noon.

•When there is an alarm condition, an alarm message is sent to all stored phone numbers and email addresses at once. When the condition returns to a normal state, another message is sent. In case of a temperature alarm, the temperature must return inside 5F of the thresholds before a "Normal State" message is sent.

• In case of the ‘Motion’ alarm and ‘Remote Sensor not responding’ alarm, a message is sent out only once. These alarms are re-armed after 1hr to avoid multiple alarm messages
